TERMS & CONDITIONS

We are open every day between 8am - 10.00am in the morning and 3pm - 5.00pm every afternoon. Our charges are calculated on a per day basis. You will be charged for the day of arrival and the day of collection.

All pets must be fully up to date with their regular annual shots..and a copy of their vaccination card will be held on file. We also recommend that all dogs are vaccinated against Kennel Cough. You will usually have to ask your vet specifically to do this. We are not responsible if your pet picks up kennel cough during his/her stay with us.

 

Most pets really enjoy their time here at Claws and Paws, but bear in mind they're undergoing a change of diet (if own food is not supplied) and they're usually very excited at all the new smells & people, etc.. They may perhaps experience some stress and separation issues. This can occasionally lead to either some weight loss or perhaps coming home with a case of diarrhoea and or sickness for a few days after their stay. This usually clears up after a few days. If you are unsure about any of the above, please talk to your vet prior to dropping your dog off. 


Terms and Conditions: Please take the time to read our Terms & Conditions carefully. By making a booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by them. 

General:  All pets are accepted at Claws and Paws at the pet owners own risk. While we endeavour to provide a safe, secure and sanitary facility, due to the unpredictability of animal behaviour we do not accept any liability for loss or injury to your pet(s).

Cancellation Charges:  The booking deposit is non refundable but may be applied to a future booking if we are given at least 14 days notice. Any cancellations made within 14 days of the due arrival date will mean you forfeit your deposit or any payment. Any cancellation or changes to your booking must be done in writing. There are no exceptions to this. You can email or post your cancellation. We do not accept cancellations made over the telephone.

If you cancel within 14 days of the due arrival date or fail to show up,  you are liable to pay a cancellation fee, equal to the full cost of the booking.

Early Collection: You may pick your pet up early, but no refunds will be made for any unused days, in the case of early collection.

Vet Care:  We reserve the right to contact a veterinary surgeon should we feel the need arises. All fees and charges will be the responsibility of the pet owner, not the kennels. 

Personal Items:  Everything that your pet needs for their stay is provided, we are no longer accepting beds/bedding or toys. We have all of these, they will be correctly disinfected between stays. If you want us to feed your pet on his/her own food, please do not bring it in a container you are expecting to get back. Please bring it in a carrier bag...with the correct amount for their stay. If you wish to portion it out in ziplock/freezer bags for each day/feeding, please feel free to do so.

Uncollected Pets:  If your pet is not collected after 7 days of the scheduled departure date, and no contact is made by yourself, the ownership of the pet will transfer to us.
